Dr. Feoli received her Ph.D. in monogastric nutrition from Kansas State University in 2008. Most of her research evaluated the use of high levels of distillers dried grains with solubles in diets for nursery and finishing pigs. She completed her undergraduate studies in Animal Science and her master’s degree in Agribusiness from the University of Costa Rica.

For four years, Carolina worked for a poultry breeder operation coordinating nutrition, feed supply, and management of parent flocks with additional supervision responsibilities for a swine and dairy farm. Prior to coming to the U.S. to pursue her Ph.D., she worked for a nutrition company in Central America doing technical sales of vitamin and mineral premixes and feed additives.

Dr. Feoli has authored more than 20 publications including scientific abstracts, conference proceedings, technical papers and progress reports. She is a member of the American Society of Animal Science and the Poultry Science Association.
