Dr. Bryant received his Ph.D. from Virginia Tech in Swine Nutrition in 1982.
Dr. Bryant managed the Swine Research Farm for three years while obtaining his MS Degree from the University of Florida in 1976. He was actively involved in teaching, research and extensions programs at Virginia Tech where he served as Swine Research Coordinator for six years. His Ph.D. Thesis clearly defined the need for supplemental biotin to sow breeding rations.
For two years, Dr. Bryant was Assistant Professor in the Animal Science Department at North Carolina State University. At NCSU, Dr. Bryant conducted research projects studying the effects of molds and mycotoxin on swine performance, while directing the state’s swine nutrition extension programs.
Dr. Bryant joined Akey, Inc. in 1984 and has held many positions in the Nutrition, Research and Technical Services Departments. Dr. Bryant currently serves as Vice President for Akey. He works closely with Purchasing and R&D in the development and implementation of new technologies. He continues to provide technical services to domestic and international customers.
